| 1・The original manuscript in English aswe11asJapanese Should be accepted． 2・lnformations of cullured humancells should be accepted even if it is not an original article．Further，short communications on interesting research（information）are also acceptable． 3・Submit two complete copies in addition to an original manuscript． 4・Acceptance or rejection of the manuscript is decided by the editorial board through referees'consideration． 5．The original or informations of cultured human cells articles should not exceed thirty double-space pages （including figures，tables and photographs）．Summary must not exceed 300 characters and 25O English words， and key words should be five or less（English）・ The review article should comply with the original article in the writing style・However，it must begin with "Introduction"and end with "Conclusion"． 6・The manuscript is arranged as follows：summary， introduction，（materials，methods・results），discussion， conclusion，references，tables，figure legends，figures and English summary・Figures（including black and white and colourillustrations）and tables, respectively，are numbered in a consecutive series in the order in which they are cited in the text． 7・Photographs（in colour）are accepted at the request of， and at the expense of，the author for the photome− chanical process and printing. A slid is required for each colour figure． 8・The following symbols are used for heading of sections： T‥・‥‥1・・．…．1）‥‥‥a． 9．Figures should be given in Arabic numerals．CGS units are used for weights and measures as follows：m,cm, mm,cu,ml,l,dl,kg,g,mg,etc,Care must be taken to distinguish u（unit）fromμ（micro）and r from γ（gam− ma）in expression. 10・The publication issue and sequence of each paper shall be determined by the Editors． 11・Reproduction of papers appearing in the journal is prohibited without permission． 12・The manuscript should be written in type，not hand− writing． 13・A frequently repeated term may be described in abbre− viation after its first appearance by a note in paren−theses （hereinafter．‥）． 14・Non−Japanese words，names or geographical names should be type−written in originai ianguages・In general， generic drug names should appear in Roman script・ When a trade name of a drug is used，its first appearance should be followed by the generic name in parentheses written. Only the first letter of proper nouns，German nouns and words in titles should be capitalized with all other letters appearingin iower case．A scientific term should be underlined in the manuscript so as to facilitate the use of italics for publication． 15．Figures，tables and photographs should be as camera− ready as possible. They should be on pages which are separate from the text, with their appropriate insertion points marked in the text.As to electron microscopic photos. scale and magnification should be described. As to optical microscopic photos，original magnification should be described[×200（0.M.）or 4×5O（0.M.）， 0.M. stand for original magnification］ 16・Submit the manuscript with a cover sheet listing the title and author（s）・position，institution, number of pages in the text，the number ofillustrations and tables，and the number of reprints requested． 17・Authors will have one opportunity to check the galley proofs and make corrections for typographical errors and misprints only．Additions may not be made． 18・Only those references cited in the text must be given・ References are cited in the text by numerals elevated half line upward with only right parentheses． 19・In the References，list up to three authors，using "et al" for more than three．Citations should be listed in the References section at the end of the paper in the order of their appearance in the text and marked by a citation entry number in brackets；this number should also be inserted at the appropriate point in the text．Citations of foreign publications should conform to the Index Medi- cus. The writing style should comply with the following format．Cited journal articles should be listed under Reference by their citation number fol1owed by name（s） of author（s），title of the article，name of the journal， volume，page numbers and issued year（western cal− endar）.Cited chapters appearing in books should be listed by citation number，author（s），full tit1e of chapter， full title of book.（editors）．edition No．，publisher，issued place and issued year（western calendar），page number・ other information may appear as per the journal example． 【insert Japanese】 1）Umezawa H.Aoyagi T.Suda H, et al：Bestatin， an inhibitor of aminopeptidase B，produced by actinomycetes．J．Antibiotics 29：97−99，1976． （List up to three authors）． 20・Obtain prior consent for the use of copyrighted materials published elsewhere，such as text，figures or tables from the copyright holder．Negotiations with the original author are generally the responsibility of the submitting writer. Clearly attribute such materials（author，book, title，journal title, pages，issued year) 21・Manuscript as a special contribution should be accepted． This manuscript will not be reviewed by the Editorial board・Number of pages should be within 30 pages． Moreover，￥40，000 will be charged for thepublishing fee per one page（printed）・In principle，the author first on The list，should be a member of the HUMAN CELL Research Society（Entrance is admitted after submis− sion）． 22・Authors will be presented with one copy of the journal and thirty reprints of the article.
